You start from zero. A1 takes one month; A2, B1 and B2 take two months each, always three hours a day, Monday to Thursday. Enroll in the whole course or one level at a time.
Alphabet, pronunciation, first sentences. Introducing yourself, ordering at a café, finding your way around an Italian city.
Past tenses, short narratives, reading simple texts and holding conversations at the market or in the office.
Subjunctive mood, articulate opinions, reading newspapers and short essays. We prepare you for academic life.
Academic Italian, writing complex texts, understanding university lectures. You are ready to enroll.
A small class and two people you can count on: one teaches you the language, the other makes sure nothing stops you during the lesson.

She graduated in Languages and Cultural Mediation (L-12) at the University of Padua and is completing her Master's in Palermo. She teaches language and culture together: solid grammar, and the way Italians actually speak.
Class companion

What a year in Italy actually costsOn 1 November 2026. A1 runs through November, then A2, B1 and B2 take you to May 2027, in time for university pre-enrollment.
A1 costs $150; each of the other levels costs $250. The full course from A1 to B2 is $900.

For programmes taught in Italian, usually B2, certified by CILS, CELI or PLIDA. The course takes you to that level and prepares you for the exam.
